This Fine Quality 19thC Walnut Occasional Table displays some very refined features. Standing on long elegant Barley Twist Legs, leading down to a square shoulder that is veneered and crossbanded, and ending in beautifully shaped feet. The finely turned stretcher rails add further refinement, and the feet have a generous spread to them, aiding stability.
The top is veneered in well chosen figured Walnut with a decorative cross banding. The Walnut timber is a delightful mellow warm hue, and this little table displays particularly good patination. An extremely useful and elegant table that could be used in so many areas of the home.
