Rosewood & Satinwood Inlay Mantel Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful lancet shaped mantel clock in rosewood, with satinwood inlay, including a sheraton style cartouche to the lower half of the case. A shaped plinth base and standing on brass bun feet.

It has a cast brass bezel and a white enamelled dial with black Roman numerals with red Arabic markers at the quarters. It has a convex bevelled glass.

The 8 day, timepiece movement has a platform escapement (non of those awkward pendulum problems). It has just been fully serviced by our 9th generation horologist and carries our usual 12 mths full parts and labour guarantee.

The whole clock in perfect condition, keeping perfect time, and complete with original key.

An absolute little gem.
