A quality Norwegian solid silver baptism spoon. It is hallmarked with the 830 standard mark along with the makers mark of Marius Hammar who operated from 1847 to 1927. I would ate this piece to c1890. It has been very nicely designed with the terminal being cast in the form of St George and the Dragon the back of the bowl is engraved Maria. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, light gilding. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.4cm) long by 2 inches (5cm) wide and weighs 44 grams. A very well made piece.
