A beautiful and original antique gilded bronze clock, with fine Sevres style porcelain. The porcelain has a turquoise background with finely painted cherubs on the clock face and a courting couple on the panel below. The side panels and the urn that sits aloft of the drum are painted with fine floral decoration. Makers Mark ‘C.M & H’The clock movement is mounted in a porcelain drum with a porcelain clock face, which stands on an elaborate and heavily modelled base with laurel leaves and large scrolls.
