Description

This gorgeous silver mounted enamelled amber glass dressing table jar is dated Chester 1909. The spot-hammered silver lid with a vacant roundel. Fully hallmarked for Chester 1909 and made by the prolific S Blanckensee & Sons. The amber glass jar heightened with a yellow enamel floral garland.

S.B & S. Ltd for S Blanckensee & Sons.

Chester Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "I" for 1909.

Dimensions:

Height: 4.5cm / 2 inches.

Diameter: 7cm / 3 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

No chips or cracks to the main body.

Silver lid in good condition.
