An Irish tall boy secrétaire chest.

This fine Irish country house estate secrétaire chest is of typical Irish pattern.

The 8 graduated drawer fronts with drawers (from the top) 3,4 &5 opening as a flat fall to reveal a fully fitted secrétaire interior. The interior made up with a combination of pigeon holes and drawers. The central cupboard door revealing hidden drawers.

The cornice with dentil moulding.

Supported on original shaped bracket feet.

The handles replaced in the 19th C but are nicely done & in period.

Lovely condition, colour & patination & in that beautiful country house look.
