Regent Antiques has dated this Anglo Indian Planters Chair to the 1890s.
It is of pegged construction with boot planks and classic turned front legs.

The arms extend out to form leg rests, they were designed for use on verandas in 19th Century British colonial plantations.
There is no mistaking the superb quality and distinguished design of this comfortable arm chair.
