A delightful stool of diminutive proportions with chamfered ash wood legs, ''through doweled'' to an elm seat, showing signs of heavy use and richly patinated over a red varnish. The colour is exceptional and in form reminiscent of a Yorkshire cutlers stool. 15cm high, 20cm wide. English, 1820.
