The House of Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
A delightful collection of 4 hand-crafted folk-art birds perched on 2 pieces of natural fungus. The birds are made from sections of found tree sections and shaped into birds with metal pins at their base so can be removed and moved into different positions on the supporting fungus sections which can be mounted to a wall. Complete one-off examples and highly decorative.

These are naturally aged items with surface wear and a deep patination. Both pieces of fungus have supporting brass hanging hooks to the reverse. The birds have old metal pins at the base so can be removed and repositioned as you wish.
