A good mid 19th century Dutch figured walnut marquetry inlaid bombe chest of small proportions. The graduated concave and convex oak lined drawers retain their original brass handles flanked by the boldly outset canted corners and flat sides contrasting with the complex front. Beautiful marquetry inlaid central urn, floral and exotic birds with butterflies to the corners. Later replacement carved paw feet.
