A rare German 800 solid silver cup, or possibly a bowl. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark, the 800 silver standard mark and makers mark of Wilhelm Binder who was founded in 1869. I would date this piece to c1920. It has been stylishly made having a textured finish and has been gilded inside. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cm) across by almost 2.25 inches (5.6cm) tall and weighs 60 grams. A nice quality rare piece.
