The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss signed stem-winding movement which is working nicely. Limit were importers of watches into the UK, they were based in Oldham in Lancashire, UK.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
Dennisons supplied gold plated and silver cases for Limit watches. Overall the case is in good condition with just light surface marking to the back, nothing too serious at all.

The watch glass has some fairly minor marks, all very acceptable.
The signed dial is in nice condition with original gold hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes with a single chain, 34cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar is probably a later addition, it is more yellow in colour than the chain.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
