An Edwardian Lancet Top Mantel Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

An Edwardian mantel clock of Georgian design. A rosewood case with line inlays to the front and a parquetry inlaid fan. An arched pediment and 2 brass side handles. Brass ogee bracket feet. Fretwork to the rear door sound panel. A convex enamel dial with Roman numerals and nice decorative gilt hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong signed Marti of Paris.. Circa 1910.
