Description

A fine and rare Flight, Barr & Barr, Worcester Porcelain Rose Water Sprinkler c.1815. Of classical form, the spout formed from a bird with its wings outstretched, the handle from a serpent, both highlighted in gold, both the front and reverse decorated finely painted with a bouquet of flowers on a white background.

Full script mark with London House address to the base.

Two examples of similar form rose water sprinkler are illustrated by Henry Sandon, Flight and Barr Worcester Porcelain (1978), p.162, pl.156
