Fine Antique English Porcelain has dated this Georgian Porcelain Bough Pot to the Georgian era.
The piece bears the impressed mark of the enigmatic W(***) factory.
It is thought (but not known for certain) that that factory was operated by the Whitehead family-Whitehead senior having three sons-hence the three stars.
Condition: Small chip to base invisibly restored. Small rim chips to lid and worn gilding restored.
