Graingers Worcester Reticulated Ewer, C. 1890.

Description

Graingers Worcester reticulated porcelain ewer, c. 1890. The lobed globular body, reticulated with panels of flowering scroll, in gilt panels, beneath a neck forming the spout, entirely reticulated with further scrollwork.

Having an elaborate ‘C’ scroll handle, heightened in gilt.

Printed factory mark to the base.

Height – 20.2 cm, 8”.

Diameter – 12 cm, 4 3/4”.

Condition – Some wear to the gilding – please see images for detail. No damage. No restoration.
