Late Victorian oak knee hole desk dating from around 1890. The desk top with a lift lid adjustable reading / work slope. The desk has a green and gilt tooled leather liner . With four graduated drawers to each side , and top middle drawer , all with brass handles. The desk is likely Scottish as the drawer brass locks have an Edinbugh makers. the desk will not split down. though all drawers can be removed.
