A very scarce pair of Shelley porcelain figures one of a cheeky young boy wearing a hat and carrying a basket of flowers and the other of a girl wearing a pretty dress and matching bonnet carrying an umbrella and handbag both modelled by the famous English artist Mabel Lucie Attwell (1879 - 1964) who was well known for her popular cute, nostalgic drawings of children throughout the 1920s and early 30s.
