Quality Victorian Sterling Silver Hair Comb - 1897

Description

Many of these pretty solid or sterling silver combs were Edwardian, so it's nice to find a good Victorian example in a good gauge of sterling.

The highly decorative pierced or reticulated top is beautifully engraved to enhance it's appearance once in the hair.

The underside is hallmarked for Sheffield 1898 together with the silversmiths initials TNB.

Excellent condition, measuring 4 3/4" long x 1 3/4" at widest point.
