This is a very high quality and beautifully designed English country house armchair. It is unusual as it is exceptionally deep and was most likely used as a lounging chair for a good drink and a smoke. The style is very similar to that of Howard and sons. It even stands on tapered mahogany legs capped with brass casters. Clean design and very comfy.
