The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The sides have a simple floral frieze in underglaze blue, iron red enamel and gilding and the base is marked with the registered design number Rd 25260. The cover is hallmarked for London 1885, makers Sampson Mordan & Co.

It measures 5.6cm (2 3/16") high, 4.3cm (1 11/16") wide and 1.2cm (5/8") wide.
In excellent condition with no damage or repair to the porcelain. A very tiny ding to the side of the cap just above the hallmarks and very minor handling wear.
