A truly lovely vintage sapphire and diamond ring. The sapphire in the centre - certified as natural, unheated and originating from Myanmar (Burma) - displays a vivid and electric indigo blue. The sapphire in claw set in white gold and surrounded by 14 small and spaced apart eight-cut diamonds: enough sparkle to add interest, but not so much as to detract from the centre stone. On a slim and tapering 18k yellow gold shank.
With clear hallmarks from the London Assay.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Burmese (Myanmar) in origin.
