Description

A charming small George V era silver photo frame with clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1931 and makers mark for Sanders & Mackenzie. This frame was made at the height of the fashionable Deco era. It is a small size ideal for a portrait photo of a favoured person, child or pet. The smooth plain silver frame wraps around the sides. Under the glazing, there is a tortoiseshell liner, with carved out central oval, all the more to focus on the photo inside. The frame is fitted with its original oak back and keepers. A really elegant piece, in excellent condition.
