Art Deco 0.31 Carat Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, Circa 1940

Description

A wonderfully unique vintage diamond cluster ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre is rubover set in platinum and is surrounded by 16 eight-cut diamonds in the square shaped surround, with the four stones at the compass points set in raised, rubover settings.

Cut:? The centre is an old mine cut, with eight-cut diamonds in the surround.

Colour:? G to H.

Clarity:? VS2 to SI1; all are clean to the naked eye.

Carat:? The centre diamond is approximately 0.15 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.31 carat.

Circa:? 1940.

Size:? L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements:? The head of the ring is 10 x 10mm and sits 5.0mm from the finger.

Weight:? 3.88 grams.

Metal:? Platinum. Tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer.
