A very interesting read.

We are happy to offer this excellent condition antique Victorian book.

The illustrated London News with gilded embossed leather spine and corner hardcovers.

1899 July 8 to December 30 published by Illustrated London News and Sketch Limited - Strand London

Good condition, but to note, there is bit of damage to a couple of pages in the opening pages and the cover does have some wear as expected with any antique book.

1006 pages and illustrations depicting London, it's life, people & buildings near the turn of the century. A fascinating study and collection of news of London over 120 years ago.

The book has been rebound at some point by the company Birdsall & Son Northampton and bears their small badge on the back of the hard cover.

Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there, as expected with an item of this age. However, we feel that these points are which adds to the charm of the item with it being an antique.
