This beautiful silver preserve spoon is dated Sheffield 1896 and bears the marks of the renowned Mappin & Webb. The oval bowl exquisitely engraved, the elaborate pierced handles with a vacant reserve.

Hallmarks:

M&W for Mappin & Webb.

Sheffield Assay mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letters "d" for 1896.

Dimensions:

Length: 16cm / 6.2 inches.

Bowl: 5cm x 3.5cm
