A very good mid 17thc oak ''joyned'' coffer....it has three plain panels on the top and two carved panels on the front, each carved with a large circle containing a flower head and a carved top rail of floral lunettes on the front.....it has gained a very good natural colour & patina, original ring hinges and no major repairs or alterations.
English. C1640-60.
