A very unusual gentleman''s collection and viewing box, made from mahogany and glass....it has a sliding base to open and the specimen (hopefully deceased) can be placed onto the spike and viewed from the glass viewing hole in the top of the box....it is in perfect condition with a very good colour and has three good collection labels ...W.J.Shepherd collection - The Miller collection and the Brian Hawtin collection....doesn''t get a better provenance than that...!
