A fine quality 19th century Stourbridge glass claret jug with hollow blown stopper, of flat oval form with handle and spout, the front is intaglio cut with a forest scene depicting a bird perched on a tree stump next to a river, finished with leafy vines on the reverse. This beautiful claret jug has a polished pontil and is in excellent condition standing 10 inches tall.
