Description

This elegant solid silver toast rack is dated London 1935 and bears the marks of J. B. Chatterley & Sons Ltd. The rounded rectangular base with five arched wire-loop divisions and raised on four ball feet. The central bar surmounted by a distinctive ring handle. The design is simple and elegant. The silver gauge very good, a testimony to its quality.

London Assay Mark.

Coronation Mark.

Date letter "u" for 1935.

Lion Passant.
