Antique Oak Furniture 17thc Carved Boarded Box. English C1670-80

A fine example of a 17thc oak boarded box, complete with original hand made hinges and lock....it is carved on the front with typical ''lunette'' style carving and punchwork patterns....the box lid has attractive chip carving on each end....it has gained a very good natural colour and apart from the missing hasp, which are fairly easy to find, is in original condition....
English. C1670-80.
