A stunningly beautiful and extremely rare 19th century
FRENCH NOVELTY LIQUEUR CABINET,
modelled as a leather covered sedan chair,
the sides and hinged door painted with Vernis Martin style
18th century landscapes with glazed upper sections,
opening to a fitted mirror back interior with wirework frame
holding a pair of wrythen cut oval ewers with silver mounts
and hinged chased covers (7'' high), and a set of six tots,
on a sliding platform over two short and two long drawers
with silk lined interiors, raised upon four knurl feet with
stamped metal appliques,
Overall in excellent condition, commensurate with age.
The interior as new. The ewers in perfect condition.
