Antique Heriz carpet with a small medallion design, scarce design to the field.
 
Circa 1900/20.
 
A good Heriz carpet of very scarce design. The carpet has a small central medallion in indigo blue on a warm madder red ground. The field is covered in an angular strap design in a soft saffron yellow. The traditional border is in indigo blue and frames the carpet well.
 
The Carpet is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile, the carpet has an excellent country house look.
 
This is a good furnishing Heriz carpet that is suitable for normal domestic use.
 
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
