N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the 1930s.

The tiles are made from pieces that have been constructed from bovine from cow shine bone which is not an endangered species and bamboo with lovely dovetails joints. There are 144 tiles. The carrying case has a lovely red chinoiserie casing with the outer chinoiserie edging to the paintwork being carved. The front slides up, this allows the five trays to be pulled out. We have photographed the pieces in detail to allow you to view for yourself. There are a total of 144 tiles. All tiles have been photographed.

The carrying case is nicely detailed with two lovely shaped carry handles to the top.
There are also counting sticks (made from bovine from cow shine bone which is not an endangered species), as well as miniature dice. North, East, South and West.

It also has its original booklet with the maker named “H. F. Gibson Ltd London” and “International series 1931 edition”.
