LTANTIQUES.CO.UK has dated this George III Mahogany Secretaire Cabinet to the Georgian era.
It comes in two separate pieces for ease of transport.
The top section features a striking dentil cornice above two flame mahogany panelled doors.

The base of the piece sits on bracket feet and boasts a secretaire drawer, which opens to reveal a well-organised interior with eight small drawers, a central cupboard with a working lock and key, and four pigeonhole storage compartments.

The front fall of the secretaire opens to create a convenient writing surface. Below, there are three additional long drawers for extra storage, with brass oval handles and cockbeaded fronts.
