Jeff Sims Antiques has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The bases are cut with a multi-point star and there is extensive and matching cut decoration to all parts, including the castellated rims. The lids are removed via a matching cut steeple knop. These outstanding pieces are good collector's items and rather difficult to find, particularly as they are a pair and have all three component parts intact. A magnificent example of Victorian cut table glass, both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Very good, with no cracks or large chips. Some of the extremities have nibbles, commensurate with age and use.
