The Silver Cabinet has dated this Solid Silver Cellini Ewer to the Victorian era.
It carries the maker's name of George Ivory and is clearly hallmarked for London 1851. Every part (including the ring top of the stopper) carries conforming hallmarks. The stopper is cork with silver mounts at either end. There are a slightly clumsy pair of initials on the neck of the ewer.

A stunning piece.
