A French gilded cased carriage clock. The original travelling case. An enamel dial with blued steel hands and Roman numerals. Signed to the dial by retailer 'Mappin & Webb London'. An oblong bevelled glass top panel showing the escapement. An 8-day duration timepiece mechanism. Marked 'Made in France' to the mechanism backplate. Circa 1910.
