An incredibly attractive 19th century mahogany music stand dating from the era that is William IV to early Victorian. It has a fully adjustable height mechanism secured by an original thumbscrew on the column. The tapering turned and carved column is supported on a tripartite base on curved lion�s paw feet. The lyre-shaped music rest has brass retainer toggles to keep sheet music in place. The lowest overall height this stand can be adjusted to is 123cms, and the highest is 180cms.
