A CHINESE PARCEL-GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF ZHENWU

Ming Dynasty - Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 (of the Period)

The hollow cast figure seated with one hand on his lap and the other holding the belt around the ample robe, the face, hands and feet painted with gilt, a turtle and snake group between the feet.

23.5cm (9 1/4in) high

General rub and wear, loss of gilt and discoloration to the patina.

Some cracks or holes to the cast, especially on left side
