Antique Miniature Swiss Carriage Clock for the Chinese Market c. 1890

Lovely miniature carriage clock made for the Chinese market.

The carriage clock has a engraved gilt brass case, a porcelain dial and a silvered machined mount.

The handle on the top made in the Chinese style.

Beautiful silvered and brass movement, which has Chinese characters engraved on it (see last photo).

The carriage clock is in perfect working order.

The dial has a line crack due to the porcelain mounted on a brass back plate which has expanded or retracted.

Measurements: H. Incl. handle approx. 4 Inches (10cm) - W. approx. 2 Inches (5cm) - D. approx. 1.75 Inches (4.5cm)
