George III Mahogany Secretaire Bookcase

Description

A handsome George III period mahogany secretaire bookcase. Well constructed in solid mahogany and attractive mahogany veneers. The top section with a pair of glazed doors (lockable with key supplied) which open to access display space with adjustable shelving. The base section with a fitted secretaire to the top drawer and 3 further , graduated drawers beneath, all fitted with their original "lions mask" solid brass handles. The secretaire drawer is lockable (key supplied) and opens to reveal a fitted interior with stationary compartments, drawers fronted in satinwood and a felt writing surface. All standing on out-swept bracket feet. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home, or office.
