It''s simple Art Deco design with ribbed decoration around the body and ribbed swing handle is as fashionable in 2021 than it was in the 1930''s.
The pattern , called “Ondulations” was originally designed for the First Class Dining Room and Bar of the ocean liner, the S.S. Normandie . This grand ship was the ultimate in art deco interiors .
Fully marked on the underside, it has been professionally cleaned and polished by our silversmith and remains in superb condition complete with it''s original draining frog.
The rim diameter measures 5'' standing 5 1/4'' tall.
