This is a the Rare example of the Arts & Crafts Harris Lebus Oak Lecturn Top filing cabinet c1880-1900, A wonderful piece raised on a plinth base with tambour front with 2 keys and nine drawers. The top can be laid flat or rasied at differing angles to put the Book rest Lecturn top in place. The last one went to a member of the clergy to practice and store sermons.
The Height with the Lecturn down is 117 cms and with it fully up is 131 cms high.
