Technical Description
A superb, silver plated Victorian fish cutlery set dating to 1895.
The set comprises twelve fish knives and forks and a pair of servers, all with mother-of-pearl handles. Each blade is engraved with aesthetic movement fan form panels and has the year mark (1895), Anchor (Birmingham) and makers mark (L&W).
The forks have the same pattern and handles. The original mahogany box, which opens at the front, has a red silk and blue velvet interior and the dedication ''Presented to R F Buck on the occasion of his marriage as a mark of esteem by his fellow employees in the cutting rooms Messers J Shannon & Sons Ltd, Walsall 1895''
A fantastic, high-quality set in superb condition.

Condition
Excellent, all knives and forks have tight handles with no damage, the box is clean internally with only a few minor scratches externally. Overall, in almost unused condition.
