A Victorian period small walnut desk, circa 1870. Solid walnut with oblong shaped top, inset with plum coloured leather tooled and gilt skiver. Thumb moulded edge. Frieze with row of three drawers, raised on twin pedestal banks of four drawers, flanking a kneehole. All drawers with pairs of ebonies turned wooden handles, brass escutcheon, and lock. Pedestals on square plinth bases.
A charming and very attractive desk, in good condition and ready for use.

This desk measures approximately 77.5 cm (30.5'') tall, 107 cm (42'') wide, 51.75 cm (20.375'') deep, and the kneehole clearance is 65 cm (25.5'') tall by 44 cm (17.25'') wide.
