A Lovely George V Silver Mounted Biscuit Barrel

Description

A superb silver mounted biscuit barrel from the reign of George V. This lovely example has a shaped and cut glass body with geometric diamond cutting, along with port hole cutting and a band of diagonal cutting. The collar, hinged handle and lid - including the knop, are all hallmarked silver. An excellent piece, as decorative as it is practical. Dimensions below.
