Antique Large Straits Chinese Peranakan Solid Gilt Silver Belt Buckle c.1880

This is a lovely large antique gilt silver Peranakan belt buckle from Malaysia or Singapore

The belt buckle is decorated repousse with Immortals, figures, Foo Dogs, Phoenixes, fish, flowers etc. in gilt silver.

The large buckle is marked at the reverse with Chinese marks (solid Silver)

Measurements: Width approx. 6 Inches(15cm) - Height approx. 4.25 Inches (11cm) - Depth approx. 1 Inch (2.5cm)
