Regency Style Mahogany Dining Table

1900 - 1920
Description

This Regency style mahogany dining table was made circa 1925.

The Regency style mahogany dining table has the desirable rounded ends and is made in the classic design of the Georgian era. The cabinetmaker chose redundant period timber to construct this table. In this period there was a fantastic selection of high-quality Georgian timber available to the independent cabinetmakers. They were able to take this timber and make the tables using a mahogany that was not available at the timber merchants, as it had been cut down generations before.

You can use this table closed without the extra leaf or when you wish to sit more around it you can set the leaves in place. You can use this table to give you seating for 8-10seats.

The table stands on well-proportioned gun barrel turned pedestals with tripod bases ending with brass claw toes with the castors below.

Imagine the pleasure you will get of owning this dining table and the fun you will have around it as you entertain family and friends.

We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
