Exquisite Art Deco Silver & Lilac Guilloche Enamel Dressing Table Jar by the Adie Brothers, Birmingham 1929

1900 - 1920
Description

This beautiful Art Deco silver and lilac guilloche enamel dressing table jar is dated Birmingham 1928. The pale lialc guilloche enamel lid fitted on a clear crystal glass body exquisitely etched with floral garlands. The inner lid with pale gilt wash. The base star incised.

Hallmarks:

A BROS Ltd for the Adie Brothers.

Date letter "E" for 1929

Lion Passant.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Condition:

Very good

Enamel lid in very good condition.

Glass in perfect condition. No chips or cracks.

Dimensions:

Height: 5.5cm / 2.2 inches.

Diameter: 8.5cm / 3.3 inches.

Lid diameter: 7cm / 2.7 inches.
